Purple Rice Can Sit with Us
We had to try their famous #OrganicDrinkingYogurt with the #purplerice. Yes, you heard it right- PURPLE RICE. The rice was chewy and complimented the drink very well. The texture was a bit odd, but nothing more exotic than a separated version of the sticky rice you order at Thai restaurants. Mia ordered a Strawberry Rice Yogurt and Jolie ordered Peach Rice Yogurt. Each drink cost $5.95. They were both hits. This unique drink is like a high-class Gogurt with real fruit.

Would You Like Some Cheese with That Bubble Tea?
The other unique creation #CowcowsTea serves is a Cheese Drink. Most of the flavors are fruity + cheese + boba/jelly/whatever else you want to add. Mia ordered a Strawberry Cheese Drink with Boba ($6.25) and Jolie ordered a Lychee Cheese Drink with Boba and Passionfruit Jelly ($6.99). We were really nervous to combine savory and sweet in a drink, but the flavors complimented each other really well. The Lychee Cheese Drink reminded us of the Lilikoi Cheese Pie from Ted's Bakery- tart, sweet, and creamy.

Side Notes
Interestingly enough, you cannot add the purple rice to any drinks other than the Rice Yogurt drinks. There are also no size options. If there were, we both would have definitely gotten larges!
